I've been looking all over for color opposites for this week's opposites challenge. I finally found a blue and yellow flower and it was right outside my front door!

Smooth and rough (the eggs in its carton)??? I know we had a texture theme already but this is the best I could think of at home.

I thought I'd do another piano shot for a black and white opposites theme. For the top I used the camera's monochrome setting, new territory for me! The bottom was shot in color and turned into b&w in pspXI. I think I like the camera's settings better!

I took one more day off work, this time with Emily in daycare. Here are a few shots from a local nature walk. The bird seriously flew right onto that branch and posed for me :). I thought that flower on the bottom is really cool.

We went to the lake again to feed the ducks. I know her face is in the shadows again but this was the best I could get for today. I thought the last one with the waves in the foreground was kinda neat.

We had a (relatively) relaxing day at home after yesterday's trip to disneyland :). I barely managed to get a snapshot at the park for my blog.

We went to disneyland today! I couldn't get a lot of photos cuz I was too busy holding her hand most of the time. Here are a few from It's a Small World, which we rode twice. Then I went to the store and had to get her an ear hat and a mickey doll. The last photo is her still playing with it when we got home :).

I took Emily to the July 4th celebration at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi valley, ca. I think the pictures speak for themselves, except it was 103 deg when I had to walk down the hill with her in the stroller. You can see the hill in the 3rd photo where cars were all lined up. Lots of red, white and blue for this week's theme!
